It combines metallic, xDSL, and g.SHDSL tests into a single unit, providing significant cost and space savings to companies who previously had to purchase separate units for xDSL and g.SHDSL testing. The ICE.BG joins Tollgrade's DigiTest ICE® test head family of products, which include the ICE.BA, ICE.G, and ICE.LE, in offering accurate, fast, and reliable test and diagnostics to quickly resolve customer issues with rapid fault identification, location, and dispatch of repair crews.

The ICE.BG has been successfully deployed at a major communications provider in the United Kingdom. After deployment of the ICE.BG and LoopCare in their network for our voice over IP, data, and EFM services, they were able to accurately test and analyze both residential customers' xDSL lines and business customers' EFM service with the same test head. The small footprint of the ICE.BG allowed it to fit in the limited space of their remote cabinets, allowing the customer to provide coverage for both services.
